Universal Appliance Repair provides range repair in Calabasas. Contact our team about burner ignition, oven heating, or control problems. Describe when the problem began and how the appliance behaves so we can confirm the appropriate service for your model.
Call 800-387-2011 or request service online. Provide your full model number, service address, and any error code. Our team confirms coverage and appointment availability before the visit.
Tell us whether one burner or every burner is affected and whether you hear clicking. Ignition, burner assembly, supply, and control issues require different checks.
A heating element, sensor, control, or supply issue may affect a cooking zone. On induction models, cookware compatibility can also affect operation.
Note whether bake, broil, and convection behave differently. Temperature sensing, ignition, heating components, and door sealing can affect cooking results.
Record the exact error code and whether the problem began after cleaning or a spill. Persistent ignition or electronic faults need model-specific diagnosis.
A door that will not close, a self-clean lock problem, or unusual fan noise can affect oven operation. Do not force a locked door.
Share whether the range is gas, electric, induction, or dual fuel. Describe affected burners and cooking modes separately. For a freestanding or slide-in installation, clear nearby floor space without pulling out the appliance or disturbing its gas or electrical supply.
For a house, apartment, condominium, or managed property in Calabasas, share parking, gate, stair, elevator, and tenant-access requirements. Arrange any required owner or property manager approval before the appointment. Leave appliance panels, supply connections, and built-in trim in place.
Let the range cool before checking settings, control lock, and removable burner-cap seating as described in your manual. For induction, confirm that the pan is compatible and centered. Do not adjust gas fittings, remove panels, or repeatedly attempt to ignite a burner that will not light. If you smell gas, leave the area and contact your gas utility or emergency services from a safe location.
The technician evaluates the reported problem and explains the findings and estimate before you authorize work. Similar symptoms can have different causes, including installation or supply conditions as well as a failed appliance component. Record when the issue occurs and any checks already completed.
Compare the proposed repair with the appliance’s age, condition, previous problems, and replacement and installation costs. Some repairs need ordered parts and a return visit; a return to complete an approved repair has no additional return-visit charge.
For broader model and symptom information, visit our main range repair page. Service coverage must be confirmed for your model and installation.
Call with your service address, model details, and a description of the failure. Same-day appointments may be available depending on timing, routing, access, and parts. Confirm the appointment with our team; an online request does not reserve a guaranteed arrival time.
Diagnostic and trip fees apply if you decline repair; the trip fee is waived when the repair is completed. Repairs include 30-day labor and 90-day parts coverage, plus a 90-day satisfaction guarantee. Labor is charged after day 30 for a covered replacement part. See our warranty terms and exceptions.
Explore our Calabasas appliance repair page for other kitchen and laundry services. If more than one appliance is affected, mention each model when booking so the team can discuss scope and availability.
For a Calabasas property with gated entry, a guest house, or a separate laundry room, provide access instructions and identify which building contains the appliance. Mention built-in cabinetry or panel-ready installation so the team can discuss access without removing trim in advance.
Identify gas, electric, or dual-fuel operation. Describe burner and oven symptoms separately, and leave the range and supply connections in place.
